Project Mission:
In modern agriculture, efficient water management is essential for maximizing crop yields, conserving water resources, and maintaining ecological balance. Existing irrigation systems often fall short in delivering precise water tailored to crop needs, resulting in waste, suboptimal growth, and environmental harm. This problem is particularly acute in piped and micro irrigation networks due to a lack of dynamic water regulation based on real-time soil moisture data. Our mission is to develop an innovative AI-powered solution that automates valve control in irrigation networks. By integrating AI-driven soil moisture monitoring and decision-making, we aim to synchronize water supply with crop demand, optimize resource utilization, and minimize environmental impact.
Key Challenges:
Dynamic Water Demand: Accurately predicting varying water requirements influenced by growth stage, weather, and plant type.
Real-time Data Integration: Robust collection, transmission, and processing of real-time soil moisture data.
